Up and coming country star Buck Jones was a talented, warm hearted, generous soul who was tragically killed by a drunk driver on March 17, 2007 on a Texas highway. Buck left behind a beautiful wife, Amy-Beth Jones and a 7 month old son, Walker Dylan as well as a stunned Country music community.

Guitars, posters and memorabilia signed from the Buck Jones Memorial Concert by Jon Bon Jovi, Ritchie Sambora, Big & Rich and Jewel as well as item donated by Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kelly Clarkson, Leann Rimes, Terri Clark, Brad Paisley and Billy Currington become available on Snappy Auctions eBay site this Sunday, May 6 through Sunday, May 13. The original Rachel Kice painting from that night is also a prized item up for bid. (Click here fo a detailed list)

The Buck Jones Memorial concert raised nearly 50 thousand dollars and these valuable items should take that figure even higher. Another benefit concert is planned in Austin, Texas on May 21, 2007 at Antones and here in Nashville at the Exit/In on Wed. May 23, 2007 at 6pm starring Grammy winner Jim Lauderdale, Nashville Stars’ Chris Young, Jason Meadows & Lance Miller, Buck’s co-producers Walt Wilkins & Tim Lorsch, the Big Happy, Davis Raines, Jubal Lee Young and Buck’s band members Jon Byrd, Michael Jeffers, Mike Daly, Milan Miller and Billy Block. All proceeds go to The Buck Jones Memorial Fund at 5/3 Bank.
